PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant lock mounting structure which prevents articles stored in a cabinet from collapsing on an earthquake-resistant lock at the time of occurrence of an earthquake even if the articles are stored up to an upper portion of a storage space in a cabinet. SOLUTION: The wall cabinet 3 is formed of: a main body 3A which includes a top board 31, a pair of side boards 32, 32, a bottom board 33, a rear board 34, and a front crosspiece 35 attached to a lower surface of a front edge of the top board 31; and two openable doors 3B for closing a front opening section of the main body 3A. The side boards 32, 32 can have two shelf boards 36, 36 detachably attached thereto, for vertically partitioning the storage space. An engaging member 1B forming the earthquake-resistant lock device 1 is attached to an upper portion of a rear surface of each door 3B as in a conventional mounting structure, but a device main body 1A is attached to a lower surface of the front crosspiece 35, and therefore when the doors 3B are closed, the front crosspiece 35 overhangs more rearward than the device main body 1A and the engaging member 1B.
