PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk type filter apparatus which is hardly clogged and can continuously treat without stopping its operation, and to provide a paper recycling system using the filter apparatus. SOLUTION: This disk type filter apparatus for continuously removing foreign matters from a paper slurry prepared by disintegrating paper material such as waste paper or broke and then diluting in a prescribed concentration is characterized by having a disk screen that is disposed in the bottom of a diluting and stirring tank 41, into which the paper material slurry is supplied, and makes only the paper material slurry to pass through to block the passage of the foreign matters, and a rotor 61 to be rotated on the disk screen.
