An input terminal (301) receives a complex signal having, in its real and imaginary parts, one and the other of two signals, respectively, which are generated from a single real signal and which are deviated in phase from each other by 90 degrees. A filter part uses a convolutional calculation of this received signal and the filter factor of the real signal to generate and output an output signal of complex signal to an output terminal (302). A factor control part, which comprises a common part (318) and separate parts (319₀-319_N-1), updates the filter factor such that the value of the envelope of the output signal gets close to that of a target signal.
