摘要 <p>A coupling mechanism is a four-bar linkage (8-11) with corner pivots (12-15). The spindle nut is carried in a first pivot (14), the actuation section (5) is at one of the other pivots (12).The spindle is supported in a second pivot (15), opposite the first (14). The end of the spindle opposite the nut is supported on the second pivot, either directly or via the motor (1). The actuation section is coupled to one of the two pivots on either side of the spindle axis, i.e. to the third (12) or fourth (13) pivot. The motor is to the side of the spindle (3) and is coupled to it by gears, or to the spindle nut. Further detail of the second implementation is provided. Coupling is via a reduction gear. The actuation section is a moving arm of the spot welding jaws, which holds the welding electrode.</p>
