A fluidized-bed plastic media which has hydrophilicity to enable microorganisms to be easily adhered to the media, and has improved fluidity by forming irregularities on the surface of the media and forming thin sections with through hole in some cells or the entire cells, thereby increasing the surface area of the media and improving buoyancy of the media relative to water is provided. In an ordinary fluidized bed bio media made of plastics, a fluidized-bed plastic bio media with hydrophilicity and improved surface area comprises: a plurality of cells(8) formed by a plurality of circular diaphragms(1-4) spaced from one another in a predetermined distance and a plurality of radial diaphragms(5-7) radially spaced from one another in a predetermined angle, wherein the cells are formed in a rectangular sectoral shape by second radial diaphragms(6) spaced from a second circular diaphragm(2) in a new predetermined angle, and the number of sectors formed by the plurality of radial diaphragms is increased twice as it goes from the center to an outer part of the media when the number of the circular diaphragms is increased; irregular projections(9) formed on inner and outer surfaces of the respective cells; and thin sections(10) in which a through hole(11) is formed, and which are formed in some cells or the entire cells, wherein a longitudinal length of a central part of the media is 1.3 to 1.8 of a longitudinal length of a circumferential part of the media, and the media has a specific gravity of 0.95 to 1.05 g/cm^3. |
