A method for adjusting auto-convergence in a CRT projection television is provided to differentiate convergence adjustment data according to internal temperature of the CRT projection television, thereby more exactly performing auto-convergence adjustment. A method for adjusting auto-convergence in a CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) projection television comprises the following steps of: determining a power off time between a previous power off point of time and a current power on point of time of the CRT projection television when power of the CRT projection television is turned on(S10,S30); and performing the auto-convergence according to preset convergence adjustment data corresponding to the power off time. In the convergence adjustment data, the power off time is set at every unit time(S50).
