<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token authentication method and system by which an IC card can be authenticated even between IC card systems different in authentication system or authentication key. <P>SOLUTION: In order to allow an IC card belonging to one system to be authenticated by another system, not only an authentication program peculiar to another system but also a key for authentication of another system are stored in a card management device of the one system, and the authentication program peculiar to another system is downloaded from the card management device to the IC card managed by the card management device and the key for authentication of another system is set to the IC card when necessary, and the authentication program and the key are used to generate a token for authentication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
