PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a wide photometric range even in an electronic observation state and to shorten a release time lag in flash photographing.
SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes an optical path switching member 1, a shutter 9 for controlling exposure of an imaging element 14, and a first light-receiving element 12. Furthermore, the imaging apparatus includes a control unit which electronically observes an object using an electronic display element 28 and controls light emission of a flash unit 400 illuminating the object by opening the shutter while disposing the optical path switching member at a second position. When performing flash imaging in the electronic observation state, the control unit closes the shutter before flash imaging and sets the quantity of light to be emitted from the flash unit, based on an output from the first light-receiving element receiving reflection light in the shutter.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
