<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kanji-kana conversion image formation device, a kanji-kana conversion image formation method, and a program for converting a document written in kana mixed with kanji into a document written in kana only and printing it. <P>SOLUTION: Character data, which are read by a data reading part 103 to be printed, of an original document are interpreted by a kanji interpretation part 100 for recognition of kanji. In a kanji-kana creation part 101, kanji recognized by the kanji interpretation part 100 is searched by using a kanji-kana dictionary 102, phonetic kana corresponding to the kanji is retrieved, and the recognized kanji is replaced by the phonetic kana. As to a print character position, a character position of the original document is not used directly, but the character position for the number of characters of the phonetic kana is secured in creation of print data. Therefore, the character position is shifted behind by a difference equivalent to the number of replaced characters in comparison with the position of the data of the original document when printing is carried out by a data output part 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
