<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing the degradation of color reproduction due to the coloring such as yellowing of a transparent substrate in a manufacturing process of heating etc. when a plastic substrate is used. <P>SOLUTION: A color filter layer 10 has an opening 20 in a reflective region. Area of an opening 20B of a color filter layer 10B in a reflective region of a pixel region of a prescribed color among pixel regions of plural colors is smaller than the area of each of openings 20R, 20G of color filter layers 10R, 10G in reflective regions of other pixel regions among the pixel regions of multiple colors.
