<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wire grid polarizer, by which even the wire grid polarizer having a large area can simply be manufactured easily. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the wire grid polarizer comprises: a solution preparing step of preparing a metal-containing resin solution containing resin having a spiral molecular structure and a metal particle or a metal compound; a film forming step of applying the metal-containing resin solution and drying the applied metal-containing resin solution to prepare a film; and a film stretching step of stretching the prepared film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
