<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated optical retardation plate which can be stably produced, without requiring a complicated step such as light irradiation under inert gas atmosphere, excels in orientation retention after liquid crystal orientation fixing and in mechanical strength, and can extensively control phase difference in the thickness direction. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated optical retardation plate is obtained, by stacking and integrating a homeotropically oriented liquid-crystal layer, with the homeotropic orientation fixed and a stretched film having a phase difference function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
