<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring device with a cuff mounting structure, capable of measuring the blood pressure in the superficial temporal artery stably while holding the degree of invasion low. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring device comprises a cuff for pressing the peripheral region of the superficial temporal artery of a subject, a holder means for holding the cuff, a cavum conchae insertion part connected to the holder means, a concha auriculae presser part to be filled in the space from the concha auriculae to the anthelix of the ear of the subject, an ear hook part for stabilizing the attachment, a pulse wave detecting means built in the cuff for detecting pulse waves in the blood flowing through the blood vessel, a pressurizing/depressurizing means for pressurizing or depressurizing the cuff by using fluid, the piping for feeding the fluid, a pressure detecting means connected to the piping for detecting the pressure of the cuff, and a blood pressure measurement control means for computing the blood pressure value from the pulse wave signals. The cavum conchae insertion part, the concha auriculae presser part and the ear hook part are integrally formed, and the cuff is supported by the cavum conchae inserting part, the concha auriculae presser part and the ear hook part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
