<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device for a vehicle for realizing an inexpensive car inside-outside determining technology of a portable machine without depending on an LF band radio wave requiring an expensive antenna by separating the reader function of a reader-writer into the portable machine and an on-vehicle unit by noncontact communication using a high frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: This communication device has at least one ID transmitter 2 arranged in the vehicle and transmitting transmitter ID possessed by itself in response to reception of a radio wave, the portable machine 3 radiating the radio wave to the ID transmitter 2, and the on-vehicle unit 1 arranged in the vehicle and receiving the transmitted ID transmitted by the ID transmitter 2. The on-vehicle unit 1 determines a position of the portable machine 3 on the basis of the transmitted ID directly received from the ID transmitter 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
