PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a difficulty for managing the accuracy of dimensions of a bearing support, and prevent a friction and a noise from increasing and generating in a dynamo-electric machine. SOLUTION: The bearing support 15 is formed at a bottom 6 of a yoke 2 in the dynamo-electric machine 1, and enables a bearing 14 for pivotally supporting an armature 3 to be pressed and fitted. A stress buffer 16 is formed, encloses the bearing support 15, and has a tapered shape formed by internally decreasing a thickness of the bottom 6 of the yoke 2 and having a thickness gradually decreased toward the center.
