PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an arbitrarily required number of cores for optical fibers, in consideration of bending of a cable and easiness of taking out a core wire, by using a multi core optical fiber tape with a suitable number of cores for batch connection or by complementarily combining an optical fiber tape with a small number of cores or a single core optical fiber. SOLUTION: In an optical fiber cable having an optical fiber unit 54, tension members 2 arranged in parallel to the coated optical fiber part of the unit 54, and a jacket covering the outer periphery of these altogether by extrusion; an optical fiber tape with a small number of cores or a single core optical fiber 53 and a multi core optical fiber ribbon are provided.
