PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To longitudinally oscillatably support a shearing blade unit and make the unit to be securely holdable to lock and unoscillatable. SOLUTION: The electric shaver is provided with the shearing blade unit K longitudinally oscillatably supported at the top of a main body case 1 and an oscillation lock mechanism for blocking the longitudinal oscillation of the unit K, wherein a lock knob 18 for operating the mechanism is provided on the unit K longitudinally oscillating.
