PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which has a smooth curving property in a longitudinal direction and has high fitting property to the crotch part of a wearing person when being worn. SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 has a vertically long absorptive main body 11 provided with a front surface sheet 2, a rear surface sheet 3 and an absorber 4 arranged interposed between both of the sheets 2 and 3. On the upper surface side of the absorber 4, a plurality of horizontal grooves 5 extending in a width direction are provided with a prescribed pitch in the longitudinal direction. The absorber 4 has a double-layer structure consisting of an upper layer absorber 41 and a lower layer absorber 42, and the upper layer absorber 41 is provided with the horizontal grooves 5.
