The device has an adjustable Roentgen detector (1) in which an adjustable Roentgen source (9) is arranged. A control unit (7) considers position of radio-opaque articles (13) available in a space and outputs a signal from radiography, when the radio-opaque articles are determined in a path of rays (17). The detector is adjustably fitted to a clamping device (3), and a sensor (5) is arranged at the detector, by which a detected position of the detector is transmitted by the control unit. Another clamping device (11) is equipped with a collision detection system (21).
