<p>The mechanism allows the cover (3) to be swung up at one edge, and slid into the compartment (2). Its profiled guides (6) have pegs (5) running in them. The pegs are fixed and the guides are on the cover, preferably on opposite end faces. In a variant, the pegs are integral with the cover. They carry rollers. A pressure mechanism, comprising a spring coupled to a hooked catch, leads the cover to a position covering the compartment. A release allows the cover to be moved from a covering position into a lowered position, and back again.</p> |
