In the granulating method, a raw material formed of a kneaded material is charged into a cylindrical rotary drum in such a state that a rotor eccentrically disposed inside the rotary drum and having a plurality of vanes along its axial direction is rotated while the rotary drum is rotated for granulating. The method is characterized in that the raw material is fed to the other end of the rotary drum by the vanes in the area of the rotary drum near its one end, and returned to the one end of the rotary drum by the vanes in the area of the rotary drum near its other end for granulating.
