<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor which has a simple structure and measures the concentration of an antigen rapidly with high precision without bringing about the scaling-up of equipment, and a component measuring instrument. <P>SOLUTION: An antibody is fixed to the working electrode 21 formed on a substrate 11 and a counter electrode 22 is also formed on the substrate 11 in opposed relation to the working electrode 21. A labelled antibody labelled with enzyme is bonded to the antigen which is bonded to the antibody fixed to the working electrode 21. Since the working electrode 21 and the counter electrode 22 are exposed to a flat reaction tank 13, the reaction speed of the antibody fixed to the working electrode 21, the antigen and the labelled antibody is increased and the concentration of the antigen is measured rapidly. Further, the redox reaction due to the enzyme of the labelled antibody is produced in the vicinity of the working electrode 21 to which the antibody is fixed. Accordingly, an oxidation-reduction substance receives electrons efficiently from the working electrode 21 and the detection sensitivity of the current flowing across the working electrode 21 and the counter electrode 22 is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
