<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of being utilized in the detection of the concentration of NOx or the like and excellent in responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: An inside cover 22 and an outside cover 21 respectively have an introducing holes 210 and 220 for introducing a gas to be measured and the introducing hole 220 provided on the inside cover 22 is provided on a base end side from the introducing holes 210 provided on the outside cover 21. A cover 2 on the side of a gas to be measured is constituted so that the gas to be measured is introduced into the chamber 200 of the gas to be measured from the introducing hole 220 provided on the inside cover 22 while being introduced from the introducing holes 210 provided on the outside cover 21 and forming the gas flow going toward the base end side of the clearance between the outside and inside covers 21 and 22 from the leading end thereof and a step part 211 changed over in the size of a diameter is provided on the outside cover 21. A groove part 215 depressed inside in the diametric direction on the leading end side from the step part 211 is provided on the side surface of the outside cover 21 and the taper part 222 constituted so as to become fine toward the leading end side from the base end side is provided on the inside cover 22 and the introducing hole 220 is provided on the taper part 222. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
