<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable watch having an electronic key function allowing a user to certainly recognize that radio communications are performed. <P>SOLUTION: The wrist watch 1 comprises a watch movement 5 for displaying time on the surface of a dial plate 3, a communication function section 25 capable of setting and releasing the security function of security equipment by performing radio communications with the security equipment disposed outside, and a light emitter 22 that is lighted and controlled by the communication function section 25 during radio communications with the security equipment. The communication function section 25 and light emitter 22 are arranged on the rear side of the dial plate 3.
