<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy line-curable composition excellent in alkali solubility, producing no uncured (unexposed) residue in development, capable of forming an image with high resolution, capable of forming a cured film excellent in strength, heat, chemical and water resistances, etc., and suitable for use as a composition for pattern formation such as formation of columnar spacers, a color filter protective film and a colored layer for a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The active energy line-curable composition contains a reaction product of a compound having a hydroxyl group and two or more ethylenically unsaturated groups and an acid anhydride, wherein the reaction product contains ≥60% by area of a compound having an acid group and two or more ethylenically unsaturated groups in a high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis using a reversed phase silica column and also using a water/methanol eluent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
