<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a height of parking space for each story for mechanical parking equipment by facilitating the thinning of respective members while securing the strength required for each carrier. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of carriers 22 for loading cars are stored in layers at least in an up-and-down direction, and the entry and departure of the cars can be performed by moving the cars to the entry and departure positions by the carriers 22 in this mechanical parking equipment. The carriers 22 comprises wheel aisles forming road surfaces for both right and left car wheels extended in parallel to the entry and departure directions of the cars, a middle high portion protruded upward but not higher than the minimum bottom height of the car from the road between the wheel aisles, and side members protruded upward from the end portion at the outer sides of the wheel aisles. Cross members 24, 26 and 28 reinforcing the main rail 14 are all protruded upward from the flat portions 15 thereby securing the cross sections required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
