PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a global navigation system for providing a service corresponding to a plurality of input language, and for properly guiding the switching of input language to a user. SOLUTION: This system includes an input conversion module for inputting a plurality of language to a portable terminal 20 and a nation-categorized start module 23 corresponding to a plurality of nations. An information distribution server 30 includes a national database 38 including a nation-categorized database 381 corresponding to a plurality of language, and the information distribution server 30 switches the database to each nation-categorized database 381 corresponding to each nation-categorized start module 231 started by a portable terminal 20, and retrieves the nation-categorized database 38 in first language used for setting retrieval conditions by a portable terminal 20, and distributes guidance to the portable terminal 20 to switch the first language to the second language corresponding to the nation-categorized database 38 and the portable terminal 20 when the pertinent retrieval result can not be acquired.
