PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for eliminating noise capable of preventing an increase in distortion of a received signal by eliminating pulse noise that occurs in the received signal. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a detection circuit 2 for detecting pulse noise that occurs in an input signal AF and generating a noise detection signal PND, and a curve interpolation circuit 10 for determining a detection start point and a detection end point of the pulse noise on the basis of the noise detection signal PND, respectively calculating a first time differential coefficient at the detection start point of the input signal AF and a second time differential coefficient at the detection end point, calculating an intersection of line segments subjected to inclination definition with the first and second time differential coefficients and using a Bezier curve with the intersection as a control point to interpolate the waveform of the input signal AF between the detection start point and the detection end point.
