PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce assembly man-hours and cost by using a sensor with temperature compensation function to simplify the structure of a control unit and eliminating the need of a dedicated intake air temperature sensor for detecting intake air temperature to reduce the number of parts and simplify wiring. SOLUTION: A lead terminal for taking out temperature-compensated physical amounts in the form of electric signals and a lead terminal for taking out temperatures obtained by a temperature detection element 31 in the form of electric signals are connected to the semiconductor chip of a sensor 20 fitted to an intake air passage formed in an intake air system component with at least a part of its case exposed to the outside. These lead terminals are extracted from the case to the outside to input the temperature-compensated physical amounts and intake air temperatures into the control unit C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
