Provided is a functional float for farming laver to allow a laver net to be turned over easily and rapidly for preventing laver spores from being exposed to the sun excessively. The functional float comprises a main body(1); both supporting poles(10,10') which are attached to the upper part of the main body; a rod(2) provided with a stone point(3) which is fixed to the both supporting poles; and a lined groove(5) which is formed at the bottom(4) of the main body and is formed so as to be opposite to the direction of the rod(2). A connecting line(9) is connected to a projected string knob formed at the center of the lined groove.
