A system and a method for printing a printing job including a music object are provided to play music according to an intention of a writer including the music object when the printing job including the music object is printed. A host(100) checks whether a music player(210) for playing the music is present in a printer(200), and extracts the music object from the printing job and plays the music in case that the player is not present. The printer receives the printing job excluding the music object from the host and prints the printing job. In the case that the player is present in the printer, the printer receives the printing job including the music object from the host, extracts the music object from the printing job, plays the extracted music object, and prints the printing job.
