<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform quick and exact retrieval for failure occurred in the past and information corresponding to the failure. <P>SOLUTION: When a customer engineer inputs contents on failure into each of items of "when", "where", "what" and "how" in order on a failure information registration screen 18a, the customer engineer issues a query to a server whenever inputting each item. The server performs retrieval from a database which stores failure information records which can register solution information for solving the failure for every failure, while classifying the content of inquiry on failure for each entry based on the query.
