<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which makes correction, taking into consideration an influence of pixels other than correction target pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus has: an image storing means for storing image data including an input pixel value for every pixel; a pixel array specifying means for specifying a pixel array to be processed; a self pixel specifying means for specifying self pixels to be corrected, and also for specifying the self pixels such that the means reciprocates the predetermined number of times from one end to the other end of the pixel array; a reference pixel specifying means for specifying reference pixels other than the self pixels on the basis of a positional relation between the self pixels and the reference pixels; a table storage means for storing a density correction table to determine output pixel values of the self pixels from input pixel values of the self pixels and the reference pixels; a temporary correction value calculating means for calculating temporary correction values for the self pixels by using the density correction table; and an average value calculating means for averaging temporary correction values calculated the predetermined number of times for every pixel belonging to the pixel array. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
