<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the distortion correction quantity of a power amplifier, and to reduce the power consumption, to provide a receiver with high performance, and to make a transmitting/receiving device compact. <P>SOLUTION: A feedback signal is generated based upon an amplified analog transmitted signal to correct distortions of the power amplifier, and then converted into a feedback intermediate-frequency signal. Furthermore, an analog received signal is converted into a received intermediate-frequency signal. A common processing circuit which is connected to a feedback circuit and an analog received signal processing circuit, in common, converts those feedback intermediate-frequency signal and received intermediate-frequency signal into digital signals by the same A/D converter, to generate a digital composite signal. A distortion correction processing circuit performs distortion corrections, based on the digital composite signal and a digital received signal processing circuit generates reception data, based on the digital composite signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
