<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing rooting/sprouting of agricultural products or a method for suppressing/retaining flowering of agricultural products with an easy process without using agricultural chemicals, and to provide an apparatus for the methods. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus has a D.C. high voltage generating circuit 12, a condenser charge-discharge circuit 13 which stores high-voltage energy generated from the D.C. high voltage generating circuit 12 and outputs as a pulse-like magnetic field, and a magnetic field generating coil 20 which generates a single-engined pulse-like magnetic field with input of pulse-like electrical current from the condenser charge-discharge circuit 13. An almost single polar single-engined pulse-like magnetic field is applied momentarily or in a short time to harvested agricultural products 40 stored in the magnetic field generating coil 20 with the apparatus so as to suppress rooting/sprouting of or suppress/retain flowering of the agricultural products 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
