摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a thumbnail image formed based on a content while preventing copy of the content through the thumbnail image. SOLUTION: A central processing unit of a video display device displaying the thumbnail image formed based on the content executes a program including a step (S214) of deleting all thumbnail images corresponding to copy-never contents if a prescribed time period passed from the time when a thumbnail image transmitted from a video recording/reproducing device was stored (if YES in S212) and a step (S220) of deleting all thumbnail images corresponding to copy-never contents if a content to be viewed is selected using a contents selection image on which thumbnail images are displayed (if YES in S216).
