PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for many processes until being displayed about reading a file when being displayed on a TV monitor screen by using an AV reproducing apparatus, decoding compressed data, and changing an image size, because the image size tends to be increased every year with advancement in high resolution and high image quality of photographs etc. to be imaged by a digital camera. SOLUTION: Photographs and a slide show can be comfortably and effectively viewed by enabling another still image data file whose pixel size is made to be small or large, whose ratio in vertical and horizontal length is made to be changed, or whose image direction is made to be rotated to be read and displayed, while enabling a motion picture data file for displaying still images as same as shown in a play list to be configured so as to be reproduced from an arbitrary reproduction time position of the images therein.
