PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage files even if the capacity of a content of a video file to be managed varies. SOLUTION: Information of a file system includes a file entry, and the file entry includes an allocation descriptor. The allocation descriptor has the length information and position information of an extent, and there exists a non-recorded area in a video file. AV addresses are set in the video file, and the order of the AV addresses is set according to the description order of the allocation descriptor. When the information of the file system concerning the extent is changed, the file system is set so that the information concerning the AV addresses is partly changed according to the change.
