PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which has a simple constitution and prevents tooth skipping between a cam slider and a tray gear for driving the cam slider. SOLUTION: A plate shaped rib 6f is constituted so as to upwardly protrude from an upper surface near a left end of a rack section 6a of the cam slider 6. Even if the rack section 6a is floated by an unusual force, an upper end of a rib 6f is brought into contact with an under surface of a tray 10, so as not to float any more.
