PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alter the driving conditions of an ink jet recording head required for optimal ink ejection depending on the time elapsed before the ink jet recording head is delivered to a user after it is manufactured. SOLUTION: The time elapsed after an ink jet recording head is manufactured is recognized and driving conditions (e. g. driving pulse width Pc) optimal for ejection are determined depending on the elapsed time.
