PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the image quality of a joined section 2 from decreasing in an inkjet recording device for which a plurality of recording heads 1 are arranged under a zigzag state while providing an overlapped section. SOLUTION: (a) When there is no assembly error on the joined section 2, driving data correction is not required. (b) In the case of an assembly error in which the joined section 2 is jammed, an ink quantity for two dots corresponding to the joined section 2 is reduced. By corresponding to the narrowing of an interval between the two dots, the ink quantity for both dots is reduced, and correction for preventing a density from rising is performed. (c) In the case of an assembly error in which the joined section 2 is apart, two dots as correction are added in a gap with a less ink quantity than normal. By corresponding to the widening of the gap between the two dots, the ink quantity for both dots is kept as it is, and the additional two dots to the opened section are formed with the less ink quantity, and thus, the correction for preventing the density from decreasing is performed.
