An image display device of a mobile communication terminal is provided to display an image on an external screen by adding a screen projection function into the mobile communication terminal. An image display device of a mobile communication terminal includes a light providing unit(10), an image converter(20), and a polarized beam splitter(30). The light providing unit provides light for displaying an image on an external screen. The image converter combines an image signal to be displayed with the light from the light providing unit so as to display an image output to the external screen. The polarized beam splitter transfers the light from the light providing unit to the image converter, and outputs the image displayed by the image converter to the external screen.
