METHOD FOR COMPRESSION OF EXECUTABLE FILE IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A method for compressing an execution file of a mobile terminal is provided to shorten a booting time and smoothly perform a wireless upgrade server of the mobile terminal by improving a compression mode for the execution file requested to operate the mobile terminal. A storage space storing the execution files is divided into multiple areas according to attribute of the execution files by using a scatter loading file(S103). Each area is selectively compressed(S104). Only the area storing a data file is compressed among the divided areas. The area storing a code file is not compressed. Each area forming the storage space is discriminated to have priority in execution.
