A method for deleting caller-ID in a mobile communication terminal and a system thereof are provided to enable the control unit of the mobile communication terminal of a called party to determine the kind of a received message and control a memory to delete the caller-ID corresponding to information of the message if the received message is a caller-ID deletion request message, thereby enabling a receiver not to attempt a call with a phone number of the mobile communication terminal of a calling party by previously preventing the receiver from being refused. A system for deleting caller-ID stored in the mobile communication terminal of a called party(150) by using the mobile communication terminal of a calling terminal(100) comprises the followings: the mobile communication terminal of the calling terminal(100) which makes a caller-ID deletion request message for deleting the caller-ID stored in the mobile communication terminal of the called party(150) and transmits the made caller-ID deletion request message to the mobile communication terminal of the called party(150); the mobile communication terminal of the called party(150) which deletes the stored caller-ID according to the received caller-ID deletion request information; a base station(130) which transmits the caller-ID deletion request message to the mobile communication terminal of the called party(150).
