A communication method and a communication device are provided to transmit a small amount of data while receiving high-capacity data in a half-duplex communication service, thereby offering a new communication service having an effect such as a full-duplex communication service to a user. A communication system connects a session between a transmission terminal and a receiving terminal by using an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)(S101). The system connects a media channel by using a protocol for transceiving media data(S102). The transmission terminal transmits media data to the receiving terminal through the connected media channel(S103). While receiving the media data from the transmission terminal, the receiving terminal transmits low-capacity data to the transmission terminal by including data to be transmitted to the receiving terminal from the transmission terminal in the SIP(S104).
