Method for measuring the dispensed volume of a liquid

The method involves guiding volume data of fuel volumes to a processor unit, where the fuel volumes are extracted by a petrol pump. An approximate value of the extracted fuel volumes is measured based on the volume data by the processor unit. The processor unit is provided with a correction factor determined by a calibration measurement. Volume flow specific correction factor is used for correcting a difference between the actual extracted fuel volumes and the measured approximate value depending on respective actual volume flow of fuel.
