A connecting apparatus for two offshore units (1, 3) and provided with a coupling element (4) with two sets of coupling means, wherein resetting facilities compensate movements between the two offshore units. The coupling element comprises a frame (5) which is connected with the offshore units by two sets of coupling means (6, 7) in a manner allowing pivotal movement and rotation. At least one set of coupling means comprises a first and a second elongated element (8, 14), which are each connected with both the frame and an offshore unit via constructions allowing pivotal movement and rotation. The resetting facilities comprises a first and a second resilient element, which resilient elements are each stationarily connected with the offshore unit and force either the first or the second elongated element to a position extending substantially vertically downwards. |
