摘要 A Ti-added stainless steel production method capable of effectively reducing oxygen concentration of molten steel while improving life of refractories of an AOD(Argon Oxygen Decarburization) refining furnace when manufacturing Ti-added stainless steel is provided. A method for producing Ti-added stainless steel comprises the steps of: allowing 1 to 2 tons of AOD slag per the ladle with 100 ton capacity to be remained on an upper portion of the molten steel when tapping molten steel from an AOD(Argon Oxygen Decarburization) refining furnace to a ladle; and adding titanium(Ti) to the AOD slag remained molten steel. The method further comprises the step of measuring nitrogen concentration in the molten steel before performing the titanium adding step. The titanium adding step is performed by adding lump-shaped sponge titanium to the molten steel when the nitrogen concentration measured in the nitrogen concentration measuring step is 70 ppm or more. The titanium adding step is performed by adding wire-shaped titanium to the molten steel when the nitrogen concentration measured in the nitrogen concentration measuring step is 70 ppm or less.
