A slide fastener is provided to fix strongly an upper stop member to a fastener tape and to prevent a sewed thread from being exposed to the surface by displacement when forming the upper stop member. The slide fastener includes a line fastener element row(4) installed along facing side edges(5) of a fastener tape(3), and an upper stop member(10) installed on an upper end part of the line fastener element row by an injection molding unit and made of synthetic resins. The upper stop member has a main body part(13) formed by covering a plurality of adjacent line fastener elements and filling a space between the line fastener elements. |
