摘要 A terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) system and method using a satellite data path, and a method of constructing a frame for the system and method are provided to reduce complexity of the configuration of a gap filler when a repeater using a satellite link is used as a terrestrial DMB gap filler. A terrestrial DMB system(200) includes: a terrestrial data path(50) through which a terrestrial transmission station(10,10') transmits a first type terrestrial DMB signal to a plurality of receivers; and a satellite data path(150) through which a satellite terrestrial station(110) transmits a second type terrestrial DMB signal to a plurality of gap fillers(130) through a satellite. The second type terrestrial DMB signal received by the gap fillers is converted into the first type terrestrial DMB signal and transmitted to the receivers through the satellite data path. The satellite terrestrial station adds reference time information and time stamp information when generating the second type terrestrial DMB signal by using a third type terrestrial DMB signal prior to being modulated to the first type terrestrial DMB signal.
